Sandy and me, the 1960's

"When the sun goes to bed, that's the time you raise your head"
--Donovan, from "Lalena"

Sandy Lee was my best sister friend.
Purple was her favorite colour.
If I had a web page that played music when you open it
you would be hearing Lalena by Donovan right now.

Sandy and I met in 1966. In Latrobe, Pa.
We saw Jim Morrison together. Crosby Stills and Nash,
Butterfield Blues Band and John Mayall.
Hitch hiked to the Cape (Cape Cod) and then up to Bar Harbor
back in 1969. We skipped Woodstock to hang in the oak grove
of Indiana, Pa. and do four way sunshine together.

There are lottsa stories about Sandy Lee and me.

I wrote an experimental fiction called
The Corrina Chronicles: No Moon Darkness
part one of a trilogy. For Sandy.
Here is a link to excerpts from that work
(pasted below for cut and paste people)

It was originally published in the Journal for Experimental Fiction.
Soon it will be a title from Wild Embers. Yum....
